Josh + Amanda Elopement | Garden of the Gods
So. I get an email from Amanda saying she and her husband will be in Colorado (visiting from Tennessee) and asking about my availability to take photos of them at Garden of the Gods. I say yes, assuming it will be a pretty standard couples shoot and secretly hoping Amanda wears a flowy dress we can play with in the photos.
I show up at Garden of the Gods and start chatting with them, only to realize they got MARRIED at the courthouse in Colorado Springs the day prior!!! They exchanged vows with one another that day in Garden of the Gods, and I was taking their first photos as husband and wife! WHAT?!
It was INSANELY windy this particular evening, which ended up being magical... because Amanda read my mind and wore an incredible red flowy dress that blew majestically in the wind with her hair in every photo, and these are some of my favorite shots I've ever taken.
